Leather soccer ball

4 layers of pre-stretched polyester lining

High tensile polyester stitching

Butyl bladder for improved air retention

Due to the nature of Leather we cannot guarantee this Commemorative ball if it is used for play. As a display item you will need to inflate the ball periodically and we would suggest lubrication the valve every 6 months with oil. Vegetable or Olive oil (just a little) should do the trick.

The soccer ball has been made to commemorate the Christmas Truce of 1914. On Christmas day 1914 on the Western front, the French, Scottish and German soldiers laid down their arms to celebrate a moment of peace in a time of war.

The National WWI Museum and Memorial has commissioned American Challenge to produce these soccer balls for the Annual tournament in Kansas City, MO. played to remember the special event.

If you would like more information in regards to the tournament, please follow the link - www.thetrucekc.com

Please order early, we only have a few of these balls available for purchase.

$ 10.00 from every ball sold will go to The National WWI Museum and Memorial
