Through author Randy Vogt's three decades plus of officiating soccer games, he has seen many problems on soccer fields that could have been avoided. If only this official had a better understanding of the rules and how they apply to the division and skill level being played. Or that official had actually run up and down the field or had a better attitude toward the game and its players.
